White Dove of Beauty

White dove of beauty , feathers of pearl
Let all the heartache within you unfurl
Pause for these moments, the soul needs to mourn
And let your tears fall in the wake of the storm

White dove of grace, you have soared to the heights
In red and gold sunsets on warm summer nights
Giving life to the colors and sails to the breeze
To carry your loveliness over the trees

White dove of song, you have sung me to sleep
You have wakened the dawning when blue shadows creep
Into the eyes of the one who’s been blessed
By an angel dove offering the warmth of her nest

White dove of loneliness, now is your day
To feel God at work while the world kneels to pray
Await in the shadows of sorrow and pain
Then come out in glory days after the rain

Hold onto friendships , my hand tightly press
The one that you offered through all my distress
Oh, white dove , how lovely your message and song
The shadows will pass when the sun comes along

White dove of reverence , new songs will depart
How deep is the love and the strength of your heart

Prayers are with you, Rebecca
Liz

Oh Liz, your soul is as soft as the down of that dove as you wrap Rebecca in your caring and loving wings.  If you had not understood her pain, you could never have written from your soul like this to hers.  May it comfort her to know that she has you there to lean on.  Beautiful my friend.

Liz my most humble thanks to you for such beautiful words. Thank you for your prayers, and please keep them coming. (sending an email) I know not what to say of this poem, except I sure don't feel deserving of it.

Thanks again Liz, you are a wonderful person, inside and out. HUGS to you!

May the tragedy that has passed and the more recent near tragedy bring all of your family members closer together in love and in prayer. You all need each other to heal and now more than ever. My prayers are with your entire family and with you, as you cntinue on one day at a time. If any good has come from this is a new respect for the importance and worth of each family member to all. Thank you, Rebecca letting us know your needs, for there's nothing more powerful than prayer, coming from people all over th world
Many hugs to you, dear Rebecca

Page 2? NO SIR! :P

This is such a beautiful message of comfort to our WhiteDove, the one who has given all of us so much comfort in the past. Allow me to add my prayers to the chorus that is surely floating to Heaven in your favor, Rebecca, although I can't beat Liz's!!
