A Shave of Save

She, entrapped among the mesh, is
                     fingering her memories once again

Careful not to tear this weave
                     so in cautious drape, her lace entangles when

In sad recollect she sidesteps thoughts
                     memories should hop-scotch such

This once crystalline heart
                     shattered into shards by one less touch

Life’s paste of bond, diluted,
                     allows the heart to beat, but still…

A rainbow, gone,
                     and nothing mirrors back her will…

She shaves a smile with some such grace
                     then turns back to her once sane world, your face
