~After All These Years~

We are sisters-in-love
bound to each other always
by one man
my husband... your brother

and though he no longer walks this life
his spirit binds us tight
and lives within

you were a fresh faced teenager
when first we met
wearing your girlhood sparkle smile
your cheerleading cartwheels
danced blue the pretty cornflowers of your eyes

and now...
the turning of seasons
has blossomed you into handsome elegance

maturity becomes you...
clothing you in timeless dress of wisdom
and warming you with gentle touch of grace

after all these years...

I am still proud to call you
my sister in love

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Lyra, this is sooooooo beautiful, it made me cry because I'm so happy and blessed to hear you both share a deep love together and though my heart too goes out to the loss you both feel so much that you will always be there for each other as angels! (kiss on cheek) You both are angels, sweet friends, we all love you both so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lyra, thank you for sharing!

You certainly know how to give praise and
for your unselfishness,  you deserve it
ten fold.....

You are a gift to each and every one of us
here at Passions...I am very pleased that
months ago I got the opportunity to meet
you,  if only on the walls of blue...

And I have enjoyed each moment since that
first one...  May we have many more...
And I believe we will...
