 My best friend and husband Andrew & I * * * * * Before you I was not living A dark shadow crossed my heart But the sun came to stay With all the love you did impart Before you my heart was lonely There was no hope that I was seeing Then you came into my life And warmed my inner being Before you I'd watch the sun set There was no one to hold my hand But then my heart set on you As we walked along the sand Before you my soul was hidden My goals were not set high But you gave me so much confidence And now I reach towards the sky Before you I was alone And my heart was closed to love But you made yourself at home And now we fit like hand in glove You'll never really know How much you mean to me But I love you without question You and I were meant to be I am in motion I am blue Love is an ocean I'm anchored in you - Shawn Mullins [This message has been edited by Suetang (09-07-2002 06:35 PM).] |
