Just a short note, all I ask for...
Something that would help me decide.
I checked the mail, that empty slot.
Oh Lord, is this something to hide?

Just a word, a cherished true thought,
a few syllables of your sense.
To lead me, forever guide me.
Am I that dumb, am I that dense?

I looked again, nothing was there.
I prayed to see, to feel again.
I walked away, a tear did fall.
Please dear Lord, please tell me just when!

They said if I needed you, you would.
You would drop a note right away
I asked, I prayed, I said I’d wait
Now it has been another day.

Yea though I walk a lonely path
that carries into harm's own way.
I shall walk and feareth not wrath
as I give thanks to you each day.

That eternal request of us humans to ask for patience immediately...

all good things come to those who wait...
but if He requires an extra stamp for that mail, tell Him I'll be glad to go get it!

A wonderful job, Barry, of showing us that the messages come, all in His good time....

(big hugggsssssss) As some wise philosophers quote, patience is a virtue, and while it takes much time for good things to come, their value is priceless and untainted when it comes around! (sigh) This is fabulous, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Hmmmm...

You write very well. Reflecting on the theme...
Have been here waiting for the note many times...sometimes the answer has been no note...sometimes the note was waiting on my very own kitchen table...(occassionally the toothe fairy hand delivered one)...but that doesn't really happen.
As you can see...your thoughts here caused a pause in my synapsis and requires much thought.  Goal achieved Poet! ThisDiamond
