Deep in the heart

I see you lying there
your head in a puddle of curls
the morning sun
caressing your creamy thighs
and the comforter
pulled up to your chin
giving unseen security
a smile playing at your lips
as though remembering …
like I am now
remembering

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

The last line was a twist of lemon---very effective!---but if this poem reflected your reality, I'm sorry.

Hope you are now making more of these lovely memories!

Bob darling heart oh wonderful truly wonderful, NO ONE does it like you. Truly awesome writing darling heart I’m awe-struck at this piece of starlight’s caress. I really love it and this is a definite keeper, Can you feel me slipping into your mind then brushing against the touch of your soul as it walks in the place of knowledge? Such a pleasure it is to take a stroll in the garden of your mind and sipping from the well of wisdom, and I would do so until time stands still and the stars no longer shine.

This really is an exquisite piece from you darling heart I love it utterly utterly, thank you for the drops of sweetness you sprinkle in my soul daily. This is so truly you wonderful I love it utterly utterly utterly love it. That last line like a note in a aria from Les Miserables, truly exquisite, as I said NO ONE does it like you

Wonderful vivid & softly sensual imagery here poet sir.

"puddle of curls"

very cool image and analogy.

good to see your name back among the blue.

In the space between now and then
I lost the fire, lost a friend
and Ill never be the same again
Still, I believe in the innocence
we gave away.

Bob darling man I love this so much I had to bring it back. So bumpity bump up you go. Wonderful writing darling man utterly utterly wonderful

Slip softly to the depths of me
Rouse my sense to possibility
Whisper the words I love to hear
Bathe my soul in beauty’s tears
Stroke my mind with softened grace
Stir within a memory’s trace
Call forth the dream of a maybe
Tempt me with a silent plea
Gift me a dream of poet’s light
To sprinkle yes through the night
And I will spin a dream for you
       Flavoured with sighs rainbow hue

Besides I had to sprinkle this with a whisper of me here didn't I?
