Long as been the road And harsh has been my travels Trials and tribulations Sorrow amidst immeasurable agony Riding the winds of the endless storm Unknowing where my destination lies But even through all the pain and sorrow I can only smile at adversity For an angel guides me onward No matter what may come to me To haunt and confuse, to blur my sight and mind She will always bring clarity And happiness to my lonely heart Rays of hope shine through dark clouds With my angel by my side Showing the way through this darkened path With love to fill my heart with joy My head held high, I trek onward Knowing my angel will be with me That I will never again travel This dark and sorrowful road alone Fear destroys the mind, depression destroys the soul... only love and compassion may save you from death. |
