It comes again    that feeling
when nothing is wrong
                      yet          nothing is right,
and it feels as though
tomorrow          is just a dream
waiting to happen
because nothing~      nothing is certain
and life is just a journey               traveled
in hopes of someday reaching
a final destination.

~A destination          unknown~

Trying to get there
by learning           from the past
and knowing that           sometimes
lifes lessons    can be hard learned
making me timid
not because your love          is less
but because of that which is held
so deep       inside,
and no matter how many doors
are unlocked
I never seem to find  the right one
to open      to step through.

Barriers remain           hidden behind closed doors
and I wait           for that moment
when the walls come           crumbling down
letting the light shine
on a day       perhaps
feeling less timid  and        more certain
in a world where there is nothing         certain

If I have touched one heart through my words, then I have acheived my dream...

Donna...such an honest heart-felt write.
I have no words at the moment...
I am speechless.

One thing is for certain ...
You pen as softly as you slip through open doors~

This is lovely ... and healing-from-within~

You have so eloquently put to paper, that which many of us feel from time to time. I refer to it as my "bardo" state---where I'm in between two worlds--two states of being. It may be a necessary place for us to go once in a while---sort of a walking meditation. A time for reflection and going within. When I leave that place, it is usually into the side of the light---filled with sunshine and positive thoughts.
I become pro-active and continue to move forward in life. Thank you for expressing what I have felt on occasion.

May sunshine fill your day (I give our "Sunshine" a lot of plugs! Teehee!

First, to Earth Angel...thanks for the plug.  Enjoyed that particular response...

Secondly, Donna.

I doubt that it would occur to you that there are times you write so intimately a feeling that the reader says "she's been peeking into my life."

While you may have written this for yourself, or of yourself, it seems, overall, selfless.  It is a message that anyone, possibly all people, at one time or another, could say "this is me."

You have touched a heartstring here, and I would hazard a guess that this will not be the last time you do so with your gentle touch, indeed, your most Gentle Spirit....

(smiles) Oh Donna, this is beautiful, I love it, may those walls be knocked town and all the uncertainty replaced with joy and satisfaction! (kiss on cheek) This is marvelous, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Donna, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Ya know, I am sitting here with the biggest smile on my face as I read these replies,
and all I can think of is that I am blessed to be in the presence of such wonderful people here at passions.  Bless you all
love and peace
