Between midnight thoughts

Freezing within myself,
Your kiss has left me cold,
In this barren tundra am I left,
To suffer my agony alone.
Trapped within an iceblock,
My words refuse to flow,
A fraction of what I was,
My words fall dead and hollow.
Lazily onto the page,
A reflection of my life,
My love has become a cage,
Holding my happiness inside.
As a ransom for letting you go...
The illusion of your heart,
The deception of your smile,
Unrelentingly haunt me,
For what I hope was never mine.
I fight to breathe for you,
Struggling to hold on to hope,
My heart pulsates for you,
As you swathe around my throat...

Then tighten your grip and choke...
And choke...
Every hopeful breath..
You smother.
The fading heartbeat that pounds your name,
You Kill.
You writhe around my chest,
And slither around my neck,
Then tense your coils and squeeze,
Till all you see are the specks...
Of the pupils that opened for you,
Fading into white,
And the heart that pulsated for you,
Phasing into ice.

This is one hurtin' poem! I guess they're right, sometimes love hurts! You've certainly shown that with this write. If this was a personal experience of yours, I hope that you're pain-free now.

"love is pain!
I hear you say
love is a cruel and bitter way
for paying you back for all the faith
You ever had in your brain" (Sting)

Dont know why it sprung to mind but there you go,

Well Written GF,

this is a bitter wind you are blowing here; it has the chill of winter without its charm. Well done!

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Gabriel, I can feel such tears in this, sweet friend, I hope this is all fictional but if it isn't my heart goes out to you and wish for love to again fill your golden heart as you are so deserving of it! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Gabriel, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
