I see the shades
of leaving again

the dark gray
subdued hues
of unhappiness

draping over
the colors of joy
that once lived here.

They have enveloped
the burst
of rainbow,

now all that remains
is the open door
and the shadow cast
as I walk out.

The shades of leaving is such a great expression. And the ending, is sad, powerful, and strengthening all at the same time.

Very touching. Enjoyed. Chris
