Anodyne Rhyme
~*Marge Tindal*~

At the very best it's therapeutic
Easy to do, not much to it
Grab a thought and just hang on
until the pain of it is gone~

Balm the nerves with anodyne rhyme
Shucks, I do it all the time
It's about all that I can do
until the Chiropractor is through~

Then it's time to begin
anodyne rhyming, once again~
In triple dose of word-sublime
I'm gonna take my anodyne~
~*~

*Still suffering intense back and hip pain
from my fall at your friendly neighborhood Cracker Barrel Restaurant*
~Ironic that the Word-of-the-Day is just the medicine I need~

I hope your pain is quickly gone, Marge. At least your writing hasn't suffered a bit from your mishap!

Doc Love's anodyne
a beautiful piece by you
a balm for the mind

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

FABULOUS!!!

And isn't this word just perfect; although I wish and wish and pray and pray you didn't have to use it for yourself.

Hang in there!!!

Marge:  You are just amazing!!  Most people in pain like yours would take to their beds and here you are writing astounding poetry about anything and everything.

I'm so sorry you are still suffering such pain.  Sure hope it goes away soon.

Lord knows I'd take to my bed ... except that it hurts to lay down ... stand up ... and sometimes to sit~
If it wasn't for my poetry finger-cize ...
I'd be in real misery~

*Thanks everyone ... I'm gonna get 'there' ..
wherever 'there' is~

Prescription....

One soft pillow placed appropriately...
Soft music,  a nice hot cup of tea/coffee..
One pen, sharpened, with ink nearby
About 1000 pages of paper to write your
wonderful words on....

And a computer to allow us to continue to
read your treasured thoughts (If by chance
the paper, stamps and envelopes are in low
supply)

Lastly...one gentle hug and a wish that you
might get well soon...

Marge... I sure hope that you feel better soon...
I too, am in pain right now... There's something in my left thigh...
It shows up on the bone scan but they said it didn't look like cancer... but I think it is anyway...
So they probably are going to keep making me go through all of these tests and scans and biopsies... only to find out that it really is cancer and I was right all along and in the meantime... I will end up missing you and everyone else in Florida because of it...
Sorry for the rant... but I just found out that they didn't read the other scan they did and they promised to do it today...
I want so badly to go to Florida...
and I so much loved your poem...
~ still hoping to see you hugs

Margie girl darling sister of my heart and keeper of the nights light, wonderful writing, even under the twin whips of pain and frustration you still mange to turn out something that is wonderful. I love it only you can make a rhyme that so aptly fits the bill. Exquisite darling heart uuterly utterly perfect

PiPITIS its coming soon …….. I can’t wait
I wub you

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire

That's no fun, Marge, I hope you feel better soon! At least you've kept your spirits up though.
