I love it!
Well done!

These Haikus are so cute, short little expressions, and you do it so well, setting a good example that I might try one myself.

Blue Kitty----that is the highest form of compliments. They say that "emulation is a sign of success"! I look forward to reading the haikus that you'll be writing. They are so much fun to do!

ahhhh
If only I could, but if I sit to read, I fall asleep. But then, asleep under the elm could be quite grand.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

I just adore Haiku's and you do them so well.

I actually found myself transformed there. Are you serving lemonade as well?

Noah---Yes, indeed, I had many peaceful reads under that elm tree---until it died from Dutch Elm disease! Oh that beetle has been the scourge of this beautiful arboreal species!

This is shameful plugging, but on my first day at PIP (August 27 th)I posted "THE MIGHTY OAK". When I learned that that tree was going to be chopped down to make room for a new housing development, I had to write that poem.

Whoops, Marti!---I got carried away with my response to Noah's reply, that I missed replying to yours!

I'd love to have a glass of lemonade under an elm tree with you!
