She called me on the phone,
I was just sitting there all alone,
I told her I had been working and just got home,
She didn’t seem to be listening to me
Cause she just let that subject be,
Telling about the others I used to see,
Never asking about how I was getting by,
So I listened and listened with just a sigh;
I was just another place for her to phone,
She said so many words to me
I just asked myself why,
Why she’d bothered to call
When she didn’t care about me at all.

No, just a regular phone, I don’t need a cell phone, although Daddy did get me an answering machine so at least I’d know someone called. Although I don’t care to know if she had called and it would have been just as good on the answering machine cause at least I could have deleted here.
