For most my life
Everybody called me Julie Bird
They said it was because
I walked pigeon toed
It always made me laugh
It made them laugh that I answered to it
Jesse, my brother
Wrote me a letter recently
And put it TO: Julie (Bird)
It was a long time since anybody called me that
And I thought it was sweet
That I will forever be called
Julie Bird

I've had so many nicknames in life. I think one of them was after a video game hero - Mario - because of my courage. Also, I could be called Link if given a sword and shield.
