somebody's dungeon

I asked him in a whisper
if he remembered where we met
if he could recall the details
of that day in his head yet.

He looked a bit confused
then he shook his head,
"I'm sorry I can't my love"
was all that he said.

I asked if he remembered
the date of our anniversary.
He said, "yes I know this one,
the day we got married".

I was getting worried now
afraid to ask him anything.
Had he just somehow
forgotten everything.

I tried one more question
just a little one would do.
Something I thought he'd know
since he missed the first two.

I asked when he first loved me,
the moment he just knew.
He said, "Oh yes, I remember
the second I laid eyes on you.

Doesn't matter what he remembers or doesn't. He got the most important question right and seems he has loved you forever!

This was exceptionally good.

(big hugggssssss) Oh Anne, he may have forgotten some of the smaller things but know he could never forget the most important thing, loving you, and that is what make sall other things magical too! (kiss on cheek) This is beautifully heartfelt, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Anne, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
