I Spoke Your Name To Butterfly
~*Marge Tindal*~

I bid the sun this dawning
to gently warm your day
To tender you in comforting play
of healing golden rays~
~*~
I offered a prayer to bird on wing
as he gifted melody of sing
Notes of joy he promised to bring
to gaily lift your heart~

I spoke your name to butterfly
as she fluttered softly by
Asked of her the reasons why
some thing's seem so hard~
~*~
Then I knelt in earnest prayer
that your burdens He would bear
Touching you with His loving care
to bring you safely through~

Butterfly came and took my prayer
straight to Heaven - winging air
All the love that I could share
came gently drifting home~
~*~
I spoke your name to butterfly
as she fluttered softly by
She tipped her wings in gentle sigh
saying, "All is right with friend " ~

~So earnestly this one is gifted to those who have need~

Sometimes, in the reaching out to know that there is a watcher, a keeper of the heart, we find it, even when not meant for us, and the butterfly comes back with those very sounds, of all is right, upon the wind....

Marge

Funny, I was just out in the garden..and a beautiful Monarch came swirling around me...I thought a message was coming to me from someone (Michelle)...perhaps through you....the butterfly was followed in flight by a burnt orange dragon fly...who perched on a stem and looked at me with a thousand eyes.

Your poem is a heart's blessing of friendship and love, even if it wasn't for me...it is mine.

Marge, dear lady....I have come to realize
ONE thing....  You are our butterfly that
is always keeping us within your folded
wings...  or your sight.....

*This one came in so softly ...
across the yard on spirits winging~
It was meant to be here ... it was meant to be here~

As you well know ... I am only receptor to thoughts in flight~
This one chased me down with a message to pass on~
I'm glad to do so~

MartiSis~
You 'know' that I 'know' ...
and in their flight ... they touched wings and fluttered Heavenward~
Leaving the message ... for us to share a tear of remembered joy~

I used to talk to butterflies too dear...then I got arrested, they took away all those freshly picked mushrooms, I told the officer I was on a field trip from an agricultural school, they didn't believe me?....Seriously though, I love the poem and I can relate...really I can....

How beautiful and wonderful the thought that one could send a thought, a prayer on the wings of a butterfly and recieve the message back...."all is well"
Such a beautifully written, comforting and inspiring poem.
Thank you for the gentle thoughts.
