Listening to every heart

Vowel by Consonant

Lay them out, one by one,
                             Peanut-buttering smooth
Line them up, done by done
                             Savor the moment’s truth
Like keys of bone and ebony
                              Rhyming timing lining pockets
Whip stitching thoughts of harmony
                              Tucked safe in golden lockets
Laze their lolling words refined
                               Like golden nuggets dissolving
In a treasure chest, re-mined,
                               For now, one heart, resolving

That vowel by consonant, it is true
Silk-strung words, Poets drape, for you.

I love the sounds that flow and weave in this.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

chuckling...hmmm Tabin & Hood sounded like a law firm---Tabin & Blaize sounds like comedy team of ventriloquism...the only question I have? is who gets to sit on WHOSE lap? (oh...and it's almost right now, but I fear my name is spelled B-l-a-i-S-e (me been studying, duh)

Wonderful poem, and I thank you, a clever combo and I should have known YOU'D be the one to baste these together! Hugs, you!

You know,  I think that gleam in Sun's eyes
is not a gleam,  but is a wicked little
look that only she could possibly have...
as she cooks up another potion of poetry..

oooops,  oh yes,  this is a reply to HER poem....hmmmmmmmm.....KJ,  I think you
and Karen would make one heck of a duo too.

with all of these consonants and vowels to
play with...

SMILING as he departs, stage left.....

Mag.

Karilea,
You are stiring Randy Dragon, I see some fire in the cave. My goodness but you are brave.
PS One wonderful poem.

This is so special, Karilea...

Like keys of bone and ebony
Rhyming timing lining pockets...

I wish I could write like that...
and I can see the influence of both Sy and Karen in this one...
The 3 of you make a great team.
~ hugs and grins
