Sorrow
Everywhere
Plaster
Tumbling
End over end
Mourning
Beginning
Each tick of the clock
Reason lost to the dust of life

Energies
Lost to
Eggshell walking
Violence exchanged for valiant
Efforts to
Nurture
The chance toward
Healing of a nation and its people.

I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Virginia

The beginning of the month...so many thoughts turn back the clock to the day that changed everyone.  A strong poem!

(big huggssssssss) Oh Virginia, this is powerful and sadly true, we are treating these liberties like we're trampling on broken eggshells and failing to secure the firmaments! (sad sigh) This is a wonderful point, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Virginia, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Very clever. And a delight. Enjoyed.
