Not Gone Away

Don’t fear that I have gone away
I just don’t have time to play
But I’ve been walking Passions hall
Heard your voices one and all
If you look closely you might see
My trace drifting silently
I have been here just not as much
Have you not felt my heart's touch?

Don’t think that I have left this place
Have you not felt my heart’s trace?
The mark that I’ve left here and there
To show you how much I care
The hint that floats within the air
Neither here yet almost there
I will be back just wait and see
As soon as I’m not busy

Don’t ponder why you’ve not seen me
I’ve been here invisibly
I cannot move too far from you
I’m aware of all you do
But there a time and place to be
Now I’m floating dreamily
Each of you know what lies in me
I live and breathe poetry

Just save my place till I get through
I’ll be back I promise you

Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
