standing on a shadow's lace

Your Tide


gentle is
your heart
in swell
where you begin
and I end
I can’t tell
with you
I am
a tide
in spill
whispers
on skin
such a
warm chill
there
time is
held
at bay
it just
suddenly
stops
and there
I shall stay
