pain
centered

stretching
creating tortures I could not endure
if not for the weapon of your faith in me.
I am raging with the madness
of being happy and grieving
the past and present in transition
and how do I color the slow motion in between time
with words that rebel against me
and with a voice that not enough people listen to?
pain
centered

a commanding shot demands a wound.
I am missing something now that you aren't here.

Can my eyes become so entangled with the dark of your lashes
that I forget my fear of drowning in another love story?
Through one glance I know you

Very cleverly done! Also very yin-yangy.
I feel the lonliness and the pain your words convey.

There is pain in this one and loss, you have painted it well.

God Jenn, I understand this so so much. God. Wow. Thanks for it - I needed to read this tonight for some reason...to know I'm not alone? I don't know...missing is...it's a hard thing isn't it - especially if it becomes a form of daily grind.

Hugs you...you have a fine poem here, and not just because I identify with it..

Thank you, my friends. My writing has been less and less lately. Any replies at all are an inspiration in themselves.

To be clear here. No worries. I have not lost anything. I only wait a most agonizing wait for what I have gained to be by my side again. *sigh* Love you all.

I too, will agree that your work speaks to me in ways that I don't yet understand.  But, this is the pain that love finds.  You write it very well.

Thank you.

Jenn,
Your thrashings against the wall
leave cracks in the glass --
words inside.
