Between midnight thoughts

Many miles separate us,
Yet when I breathe your name,
I want you to feel that yearning fire,
Singeing through your veins.
As my starving lips,
Melt against your picture frame,
I pray your every fear,
Gently floats away.
As I send kisses in the moonlight,
On the tender wafting twilight winds,
I pray they reach your heart tonight,
And give you comfort deep within.
As every longing teardrop,
Rolls slowly down my cheek,
I pray you feel the same memory,
That I felt to make me weep.
And for every tear of sorrow,
I give to you a tear of joy,
That there be a brighter tomorrow,
With hope for you and I.
So in every gale that passes,
Blowing through your hair,
May you feel the lingering kiss,
That I left on your ear.
So that you could taste its warmth,
And keep it as a promise,
That my love will always be the dawn,
On the horizon of your darkness.

Well, well. Your poetry just gets more and more lovely.

Enjoyed this latest very much indeed. Your words are soft and filled with romance.

Been there, done it
Felt this one personally,
I feel the romance much more when it mingles with sorrow.

Good work GF
