I thank GOD
for teenagers.
They often make me see
from a different POV.
Can that be bad?
Even when sometimes their music
doesn't sound musical to me,
I know there is a message,
there's something I need to see
and hear about the world
...a world that is more complex
than the one I witnessed
as a teenager.
So thank you, GOD,
for giving me a chance
to grow up again.
I don't think I got it right
the first time around.
Now that I am older,
maybe I can keep my feet on the ground,
and really appreciate what you gave me.
So thank you, GOD.

MidniteSun~
I SO agree with you on this one~

Teens get so short-changed when the majority chooses to throw them into the same generation-gap pool~

Dang it ... we need to figure out how to get as much press coverage for the GOOD ones as the BAD ones get !
Would be overwhelming~

Might be a good time to remind our members to take a peek into the Teen Poetry Forum and see some teen poetry thoughts~

While the bad ones are out doing bad things, these poets are 'turning on' to poetry and 'teaching' us new avenues of poetic creativity and thought~

Great write KacyGal~

Hmmmm...I may have to think about this a bit more. Having BARELY survived two teenage sons and a daughter!  YIKES!!!!

(big hugggssssss) Oh Kacy, God Bless You, being a teenager I may sound biased but I too am so happy we have teens just as I have wonderful friends like you, both older and younger than me! (kiss on cheek) You are a true angel of words, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kacy, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
