Palomino
By: Noah Eaton
8/29/02

Lips of palm sugar
Lace gown of caramel
Flowing down your waist
Blouse of night jasmine
Queens Counsel on duty
Through the angel food cake lanes

Palomino, ride me to destiny...
Palomino, stride across this meadow sea...

Cheeks so bright and rubescent
Schooners under your hooves so pleasant
Through afternoons of tansy
Tittle-tattling like little chipmunks
Turkish bathing in Acapulco
In quassia and wild daisies

Palomino, ride me to destiny...
Palomino, stride to my dreams...

It's that simple golden gift
That makes my heart drift
That makes my legs feel soft
And did you ever begin to believe
That we could find each others dreams
Just falling from your skies loft?

Your simplicity is my modus vivendi
Your grace is my novelty
I give you a world free of bridles
Honey down your mane
An angel cherubs would feign
My heart is your saddle...

Palomino, ride me to destiny...
Palomino, stride to my dreams...

It's that simple golden gift
That makes my heart drift
That makes my legs feel soft
And did you ever begin to believe
That we could find each others dreams
Just falling from your skies loft?
You're that simple golden gift
Everything I've ever wanted every day
Please stay, please stay, please stay
Come away with me
We'll make this last
Forever, forever, forever...

Palomino, ride me to destiny...
Oh Palomino, through your Arabic wind the meadows sing...
Sweet Joanna...

"Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..."

Shakira

a hot afternoon
in the shade
tongues bursting with tales
of dangerous games
He has been waiting
for fire to light his hooves
mane to whip in stinging frenzy
for a batch of living to be set free
cruise
for the price
of sugar

Seriously, tho, Noah, this was expert Songwriting at its best.  Great descriptions
of man as wonder-beast (or 'woman' as it were).  God really had on the ball when it drew up horses, didn't He?  Mega cool, mi amigo!

That's awesome.

What is life without poetry and adventure?
"Little sister" is just another way of saying "Guardian Angel"!
