Lovers

I will take you as my lover
My partner and my friend
I will kiss the hurt away
Together we will stand
Two become as one
We'll grow taller than the trees
Hand in hand, together
Free(er) than the breeze
blowing gently 'crost our bodies
We'll stand naked,wild and free

And walk through life in wonder
Of everything we see..

The howling of the wolves
Can be our lovers song
In a tent deep in the forest
I would gladly make my home
If only just to be with you
See the moon and stars above
They would reflect my emerald eyes
My tears of joy and love

Dedicated to my husband...My best "Blessing" ever..

Oh, Tammy, I'm so pleased that you decided to post this wonderously wonderful love poem after reading my "Twin Souls". Thank you for the compliment and especially for sharing this incredible piece of writing. I can say "ditto" for everything you expressed in this poem. That is exactly how I experienced my camping trips with my husband (before he became my "wasband")!.

Tammy,
That is so sweet (and the wolf howls are something Lori and I can dance to). What's up with free(er), though?

LInda,
I had to post the poem in response to yours  because the thoughts and concepts were so similar. I'm very sorry about the "wasband" part though. Hope you have someone in your life now that makes you feel as you did when you wrote your beautiful "Twin Souls" poem.
Peace,love,light and happiness

Mike,
I wasn't sure if free(er) was spelt freer or...well you get the picture. My spelling really STINKS sometimes and freer just didn't' look right to me at the time.

Kris,
Nice to "meet" you too and thanks for the welcome. I really love it here and plan to stay a while. You are friends of my heart.

peace.love.light and happiness.
Tammy
