“PASSIONS OF A POET” by Bill Charles ~~~~ At times I wonder where it comes from, all of this love and romance within, perhaps it’s from being inspired by a beautiful woman, or from the beauty of what I see with my eyes… Then again it may come from a child lost in time, bouncing from one to another, not knowing when or how the madness would ever stop to set one free… Today when I look at a mountain peak, or down the river valley watching as the water flows, I wonder about the serenity I feel that flows deeply inside, only wanting to come out with tenderness from my pen… I still wonder about it all, how my pen flows with the softness of my being, writing about love and romance from my soul, and I wonder if I would ever want to change these passions of a poet, or the hopeless romantic that I came to be… ~~~~ |
