It's five O'clock in the morning
first night alone's slipped away
the curtains on this open window
flutter as the breeze's play
and I stare out at the lonely street
gazing through the falling rain
as I sit here thinkin why we
said good-bye yesterday.

Chorus:
we got Wrapped up in each other
trying so hard to find love
but we were strangers together
lying in each others arms
longing for that magic feeling
and a love song we'd both know
until we ended up believing
in the lies that gave us hope

In two more hours I leave this room
to fade into the working day
and I'll see you around sometime
but things'll never be the same
Still I wish I could hold you now
one more time to ease the pain
cause this emptiness I can't express
has filled my heart again.

Chorus:
we got Wrapped up in each other
trying so hard to find love
but we were strangers together
lying in each others arms
longing for that magic feeling
and a love song we'd both know
until we ended up believing
in the lies that gave us hope

The role of poetry is to utter the un-utterable; to open up
spaces of consciousness and resistance; to language oppressions; to
re-language historie

PT darling man this speaks so clearly of a memory that needs to wrapped and kept away less it hurt the soul. Wonderful writing darling man utterly utterly wonderful

Somewhere in time there waits a sigh
Waiting softly for its last goodbye
The heart that sits and watches silently
Wishes for a vision with some clarity
But while heart’s memory lingers on
There’s no chance of hearing love’s sweet song
The memory keeps you locked inside
And your heart seeks a place to hide
Open your soul let the memory fade
And you’ll walk in sunshine not in shade

I love this utterly utterly utterly as always YOUR writing is simply perfect

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire

Definately a great write. Sad though. But with each new end comes a new beginning.
