   a tribute of kindness
   a moment's taste of your
   from my blindness

      I implore
         my simple gratitude
         within this, something more
         shared attitude

I pray
   each day forward shall find
   the warmth that carries through
   this tender bind

      I ask
         only to walk with me
         this path wearing my shoe
         as it should be
