You are the Sun

You’re the sun about to shine a golden beam into my eye
You’re the music of a meadow lark the breeze will carry by
You’re horizon’s edge awaiting for the sunset to appear
You are child’s lips so sweetly poised to utter something dear

You are life’s soft expectation of the warmth of springtime days
You’re a petal waiting to unfold in gentle dawning rays
You are nectar sweet and succulent the sun will soon expose
I’m a bumble bee that’s clinging to the petal of a rose

Elizabeth Santos

Oh, my goodness!! How soft and lovely!! Library bound it is. Chris

Dear Liz...a bee? You?? No, you are a butterfly that soars on graceful wings awaiting the perfect place to land

Hey Ruth, a busy bee to boot!  Ask her, she has a new mop and she is so excited, doesn't take much to cheer her up does it?  LOL.  Liz, beautiful as always, love ya - did your parcel arrive yet?
