The book of a poet unknown lies beside her bed. Its pages filled with all the wonder of her thoughts unsaid. All over, the pages she bears her heart, she lets her mind unfold, And she places her love in the safety of this hold. Each note is smudged with the ink of a tear stained soul. Only the blackest will do, so she writes with coal. Her story is twisted between the letters, between each dot and line. Her life is strung around these edges; Her secrets kept in this confine. Again, the book of her desires is safely tucked beneath her covers. Where it shall rest, until her shadow once again hovers. ~~~~ sorry if this is a repost couldnt remeber if I had posted it or not ~~~Gaurdurthoughts~~~ |

Erica~ Until the advent of sharing poetry on the Internet became a reality ... I think we all did the 'spirals'~ Had so many tucked away ... I doubt they'd fit under my bed today~ But, ya' know what ? Hello Erica I know I am one of many who keep a writing book with me at all times, even next to my bed at night, in case an idea comes in the dead of night. I really like the way you wrote this and I could relate to much of it. Take care.....Sue I am in motion |
