Lofty clouds adorn the blissful evening sky,
Outlined by the dazzling radiance of the suns golden hue,
Its silhouette rippling gently on the waters shimmering surface,
The sky's flame gracefully retreats to its welcoming paradise on the horizon.
Like clawmarks of purple and crimson, the colours rip through the sky's fabric,
Streaming across gods palette, leaving trails of it's semi bristled paint,
Screaming an unheard symphony of lavender and a purplish haze,
Like a formless rainbow, tinting the heavens.
Slowly the beauteous blazen beast disappears,
Like a golden eye beneath a closing lid,
Such splendid perfection in all my years,
Had up till now from my eyes been hid.
In humble adoration I thank the divine artist,
For the chance to admire this view full onset,
Tasting life within life I drank to it's fullest,
Awe-filled and inspired by the most beautiful sunset.

Do you live in Michigan, Gabriel?  Our late summer sunsets are often like that...
I love your imagery here...

I would say you live in Arizona, we have some beautiful sunsets over here too. Thanx for sharing your work with everyone.

Staring into the sun just makes you blind to what beauty actually exists in the sky.

Such a beautiful piece...you've painted the picture well enough for me to see.  I'd say your Canadian?  as Canadian sunsets are perhaps the world's finest

Take care,

My my my...I have such a michievous feeling, to keep you all in suspense...LOL!
But really, it seems that your guesses have all come up way short of the truth.LOL!

Michigan?...Arizona?...Canada?
Why not even America, my friends...I have no doubts about your beautiful sunsets, but I am actually from a little Island in the caribbean, called Trinidad!
I dunno if you've heard of it, but it's pretty near Venezuela!
It's A lovely place and i honestly wish that i could take you all here with me, if even only for a day!

Yes, I've heard of Trinidad and Tobago...it's one of the places I've always wanted to visit, it sounds like such an exuberant and exotic country
