Samantha  If I could, I would have decided that you chose to choose me because of our mutuality in green eyes you owned me very well as if through some chemistry of time, Cleopatra deigned you reign over lesser beings with grace such a willing lesser being, I… your elegant self allowed me to elf into your imagine to see through your eyes in dark shadows what was there what still remains is now as quiet as the hushed meow stilled some years back but the feel of brush soft paw on lips a streak of whisker whispering and your intent remains solid in my core you were, and are, my Samantha, forevermore |

Karilea, this poem has got me a blubbering shamefully. Never more will I dream of kicking kitties. nevermore will I eschew the goodness in my nature to pursue this ugliest of sports. Nevermore will I enjoy the lovely *meeeeeooooowwwwpppp* as my swashbuckling boots meets the tail of a wayward kitty. Nevermore will I ..... WHAT AM I SAYING????? Karilea - May I please take back those nevermores and replace them with "perhaps only once mores"? Please? *battling wretched eyes furiously* |

Our pets, a part of us...always a part of us...even after we and they both are gone.. Always giving, seldom taking...typical love of a pet...and such a pet is what Samantha was to you....I can see that thru your words.... |
