~ PRIDE ~
I stand before you,
stripped of all pride.
Trying to mask,
many teardrops cried.
Willing you to feel,
my passion within.
Wanting you to see,
more than a friend.
Silently begging,
for your touch to live.
Needing much more.
You can't seem to give.
Two hearts are needed,
to replace my pride.
...AND...
Standing before you,
my pride can't hide.

* That which gives light, must endure burning *

'Silently begging,
for your touch to live.'
Being too silent perhaps?
Well written longing.
