My eyes locked on to your repose
and now I have been exposed

Yes, yes is there no cure?
The tippy tap is spreading for sure

The clickity clacking is tickling my brain
all of your words are a singing refrain

The phases keep coming like leaves to a breeze
I see that it's spreading, this website's disease

Thanks Electra...
I think this is terrific.... very beautifully written and very true also...

I think we should start an organization called PWAA  Poetry Website Addicts Anonymous
This won't be like the usual addiction support groups...
instead of trying to kick the addiction...
this group would encourage it.

Great idea Lyra. No need to be annoyomous. We all have pen names. Do you think we need a 10 step program?

I really like that name, Barry...
I guess we should take a poll...
what do you think?
They say that poets are a bit touched, y'know!  So, I guess we have an excuse for a support group....*wink*

Hmm, I think we're on to something. Fortunately, I don't think insurance coverage will be required for this particular disorder.

"The doctor is Always in"

The name is just a little too long but, the acroynm definately fits.

Oh, I like Magnus' new name for this "dis-ease"...
at least it doesn't leave any visible scars, like chickenpox.

I can see we have no shortage of members.
WARPED we are and I'm definately "touched"

The cure: Write the words and go to bed.
You can rework it in the morning.

Lyra, I think you started a movement.

Sunshine,

Your right except, I've noticed that I feel a little fatiqued from weekend nights and the tips of my fingers are a little sensitive.

HAHA, this is a cheerful and poetic look at this passionate problem pipsters seem to have in common. WARPED...how funny. But then I always suspected SOME OF YOU had a real problem! But not me, oh no, not me...

Midnitesun,

Ahha, I saw you with your opera cape
Your handsome frame moved to escape

You seemed to think no one did see
But we were watching on t.v.

The hidden camera picked up your face
computer held with tight embrace

We recognize the poems from you
In fact, we know it's all you do!

Oh no, my friend your still quite ill
You must come back and take your pill

Wishing you a long recovery...

Bill,

I'm afraid the only cure for your affliction is a pen and paper. Please transpose to your computer and forward it to the lab for results.

Lyra,

I see you have taken the first step and have stepped up to the plate to declare your addiction. The second step is to let us know what your latest poem is. We need the title and the reason for its inspiration.

Now, who will be the next to declare. Magnus, Greeneyes, Bill Charles, Midnitesun, Skyfire, Mistletoe, Elizabeth, Duncan, Sunshine since you have taken the first step of admitting now, you must name a poem and its significant inspiration.

Hope you'll all stay and play!

Okay...
My latest poem is called "My Little Alien" and it was dedicated to the memory of my late son, Eric...  Today was his birthday.
The poem is about his birth and it was posted this afternoon in Open 22...
Do you need any more information, Electra ?

Okay...now its someone else's turn
