Its Almost Springtime With birds hovering Its in between time Trees soon dress Awaiting springtime Once a bare bark With thirsty desire Soaks in showers Adorns green attire Winter’s dormancy A springtime nears Trees in readiness Each leaf appears Unfolding are buds From winters sleep Scents filling the air Petals start to peep Waving in its glow A graceful butterfly Blooms bright faces Holding heads high Humming , buzzing In growing sunshine A garden is blessed Its almost springtime Hope ©2002 |

Thanks Seymour for your kind sweet reply , yes I do think springtime gives my thoughts the brighter outlook , I know we will be heading for a very long drought soon so I shall enjoy the colour and greenery while I can Hope |

I was wondering why you were writing about springtime when its almost autumn...and then I noticed that you live in Australia.... where everything is backwards from the way it is here...
