They call themselves your friends,
They tell you they'll never decieve you,
they smile to your face,
While their stabbing you in the back.

They tell you they love you,
They make you believe it's true.

But their all backstabbers,
Waiting to make their move,
Whether it's stealing your man,
Or calling you names behind your back.

One way or another we all get screwed,
Get screwed by the people that claim to love you.

So don't be fooled by their smiling faces,
Or their claims of loving you,
None of it's true.

Their just backstabbers,
Waiting to make their move.

So thank you my dear Best Friend,
For proving to me that it's true,
Now I will never believe anyone when they say,
I'm your Best Friend,
And I love you.

This is a very sad statement about friendship. It wasn't ever true friendship if you were betrayed in this way. I'm sorry if you were. *HuGs* Well written.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Carly, this is so very sad but true, sometimes we lose trust in our friends for they truly can't relate to how we feel and we simply don't deserve to be victimized to them! (sigh) My heart goes out to you, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Carly, thank you for sharing!

In time you will come to realize that your 'TRUE' friends will 'stab you in the front'! :-)
