This day is but a memory
A part of nature I've become
As I gaze across the mountains
And watch the setting sun

The pines become a silhouette
Against the stunning amber sky
This scene is simply breathtaking
Causing my spirit to soar so high

A bird calls from the wilderness
And the moon comes into view
I sit peacefully in my solitude
As the stars come shining through

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you

How much I would love to sit and view these mountains and the setting sun. The picture is just stunning and I love the poem.

Sue, this  is beautiful. Is it a picture from New Hampshire?I never see the beauty here, I am too busy I think, missing my palm trees.
But this is a good reminder to appreciate the nature I have here, as well.

Thank you all for your lovely comments and I'm so glad this picture brought you peace as it certainly did for me.

Sandra, I just found out the picture was taken near Mount Baker in Washington.  Is that near New Hampshire?? I really don't know but I'm sure you do.  Most of the pictures I use are from webshots.com.  They have the most amazing photos and I use them all the time.

Take care.....Sue
