Her eyes...open to the gaze of him
as shadows played the walls in dance
from in the room of glowing dim
in want of just....just one more chance.

The bliss of sleep that brought to dream
a moment whence a moan did come.
A rest of eyes before the stream
and distant beat of blessed drum.

Blissful waiting, yearning soulful fire
left to flames upon the open grate.
Longing tunes of lyrics sound in lyre
singing soft blesses of one’s fate.

While still her thought of his she kept
till morn did come and pass once more.
Where eyes did shine from one’s tears wept
in walk of sands on distant shore.

A painful mome’ which did expire
at strike of time from olden clock.
Till ‘gain the ball brings forth desire
whence passion’s key invades the lock.

To dance, dance, into waning light
on toes of dreams in flowing gowns.
‘Pon clover fields and winged flight
one smiles, one wiles, and never frowns.

Hello Barry

This was simply stunning and I have to say I have always wanted to wear one of those beautiful flowing gowns but never did.  Oh well, at least I can dream through your wonderful words.

Take care......Sue

Sounds like a dream place, beautifully told.

A real beauty from you, Barry. I wish I could write this week, but nothing is happening. This reminds me that I need to keep going, in life, in love, and in writing.
Thanks.
