Thy silken words caress mine ears in wait
and bring to beat this lonely heart in rise.
Whence love is spoke beyond thy silver gate
‘Pon rise our sun before gold moon’s arise.

Soft the feel of warmest sweet breath
Sweet dream, cease not, nor yet to be
His heart once held ‘neath  hand ‘pon breast
wherewith a wish betwixt to me.

Can not thee grasp this  hand in reach I give
to one for whom I willed a life to hold.
As treasured thoughts beyond the forest live
from whence I came, my ride both long and cold.

His silent thoughts sweet mingle  our hearts
Mine in ivy twine of his to clear this drear
No fright my face shalt thus impart
Nay, he wilt naught perceive this fear

Till breeze of morn a  whisper to the face
A ride of steed shall courage bring to bear
as silken gown does fall before one’s trace.
Till dawn does lie upon thy softest hair

Gentle sighs, sweet murm’rings to bring
resolve his soul and mind, light’ning
His mind to quest, his soul to ring
as  fear is hidden in temp’ring

And whence the winds shalt bring from lips the sigh
which rises  from deep within a yearning bowel
I wilt to you leave  my soul whence I die
‘Fore the low moon is dark and wolf have howled.

Now, now, this chamber bed stays bare
And fear, fear of lone wolf’s stark howl
For wouldst  have him but once ‘gain, there,
as spirit..... lost catacombs prowl

This was interesting....I noticed the form was different from verse to verse. How come? I'm just curious, this was well written.

God bless America, my home sweet home.

Elizabeth...it is different because it is
a duet between two individuals...one who is
Me me me me me!!!  and one who is my muse
as I call her....in reality....a poetess
who desires to remain...just my muse...

So,  there...that is why the two styles...
One is writing,  and the other is interjecting
their thoughts or concerns for the other...

Hope that helped you understand it better...

(smiles) Oh Barry, I too always questioned that, and find your duets very deep as you keep this wonderful muse anonymous! (big hugggssssss) This is gorgeous, sweet friend, I love your style, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

I see two thoughts entwined in silent speech...this is beautiful, Magnus...I am sure your muse is smiling on you!  Definitely a gift you have, in finding willing poets to share your pen.  Thank you for this, and please, thank your muse!

KJ...without this muse...my words would be
nothing more than mere rubbish on the floor
for wiping up the tears....

She is incredibly talented and I am very
appreciative of her....

Excellent Barry...
Your muse seems to know you very well..
to dance so intricately with you.
Beautifully penned.
