Oops

There are days I don't think of you
More than thirty or forty times.
Then a happening reminds me
And my thinking about you climbs.

You've asked me to return your ring,
The one I thought I'd wear for life;
Now you want it for another
Whom you would rather make your wife.

The pledge ring we chose together
Is the one you want to give her.
Welcome to it, if you find it,
Somehow it fell in the river.

Ooops, is a good thing in this case. I'm sorry if this is really happening, but I did get a chuckle out of your poem.

and

(sigh) Oh Joyce, I hope this is not actually relating to your own current experiences, I'm sorry if I chuckled because this really is a clever poem and whoever cheats like that does deserve that accident of their own! (big hugggsssss) This is powerfully said, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Joyce, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
