Always Be in the Right

It seems I have the strangest problem
well, so far in life you see.
My left turn signal will not work
when temperature’s soar
above 90 or more.

So I’m thinking I need to map
a route for errands each day
to get from here to there
turning right all the way.

Now if I should need to join
the long, long post office line,
I could back out of my driveway
then head west the other way.

Turning right on Ninth,
then right at Orchard,
it’s easy now, go forward
geeing into the lot.

Yet how do I get home?
Turn right when leaving
then right on 1st
then right on Highland
then quench my thirst.

Then right on Ninth
and right on Juniper
right on Seventh
right on Pine, aha!
Right into my driveway.

Now if the weather’s cool
less than 90 as a rule
it’s one left turn, then a right
then a left from the lot
a left on 7th and a right on Pine,
then into my driveway before
half-past nine.

I’m so glad there are
no one-way streets in our little town
if there were, I’d really have
a tough time finding my way around.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

This is an adorable poem, well maybe not adorable, but it put a smile on my face, cause I know the feeling, you know been there done that...LOL Anyway glad you do have a format worked out for those 90 degree days, and I hope you don't get too many more of them.

Thanks, Dreamer. and S.Arthur Grey...only if you're in a town I know. Then I'm pretty good with them.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

(Sung to the tune of the old Burger KIng Jingle, have it your way)

Bring it to Toerags Repair and Body Shop
(Formerly known as "wreck-a-mended"

Jack it up and check the tires,
Lift the hood and pull the wires,
Any way ya want it you can have it your way.
