Paradox

How can life condone its death
The very breathing of its breath
Accept it’s time and black of toll
Without creation of a soul

When given life it has a goal
All living life has a role
The very thought has made the sage
To shrivel up and die of age

They say it is a paradox
Or some would say Pandora’s box
To open up and look inside
Will give to you a vixen bride.

I have no answer or no pill
I only say you must the will
To live as all the creatures do
And in the end you will renew.

Renewing is creating soul
And that I think is our goal.

Seymour darling heart you see I’m here early this morning, well it’s morning for you, afternoon to me. And I get to sip the nectar in your garden of wisdom. When I think you have reached the peak of your perfection you then write something that is so deep and yet clear I find myself saying this is incredible. I’m sure there is a well of wisdom in your soul darling boy, and I simply adore drinking from it. Can you feel me slipping into your mind then brushing against the touch of your soul as it walks in the place of knowledge? Such a pleasure it is to take a stroll in the garden of your mind and sipping from the well of wisdom, and I would do so until time stands still and the stars no longer shine.

This really is an exquisite piece from you darling heart I love it utterly utterly, thank you for the drops of sweetness you sprinkle in my soul daily. This is so truly you wonderful

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire

Now Sy...you made me think of a song by Michael Martin Murphy [ok, so I listen to western music...] "Reincarnation"...and I have a feeling, if you were to listen to it, you would find out why I'm smiling...

'morning, Sy!

Marsha,
Glad you caught it before it disappeared. Most would rather read of love and butterflies. Thank you my dear.

this phrase and the final line are such powerful truths to include here

As I beat on my little drum here, (laughing at Toe), I have to tell you that this stung hard ...

The very thought has made the sage
To shrivel up and die of age

But having never been afraid to live, makes me personally never afraid to die.  The mere thought of coming back as someone else actually thrills me   I may even be able to write like you in my next life.

The most valuable thing you own is a smile, wear it, and share it.

You say that you have no pill for all the world's ill???
Yet you are the doctor but you send no bill!!
Your poetry holds the answer ... your verse the cure
Your rhymes are the reason ... this prescription is pure.

Now I will tell a secret that will knock off your socks
Pandora keeps nothing but your poetry in her paradox box

*winkiewinkie*
you are too cool for school me Stinkylove

In the space between now and then
I lost the fire, lost a friend
and Ill never be the same again
Still, I believe in the innocence
we gave away.

Very nice Sy. I don't think this one will be disappearing any time soon. Though love and butterflies are nice, words of wisdom are often hard to come by. Enjoyed the read.
