I will never be the same now, after Tampa do you hear For the circle full of friends, will travell back to my place here I will put them on my table, hang them all around my walls I'll be telling all my stories, to those smiling living dolls When I look into their eyes, I will remember all the laughs And my ears will hear the beauty, when they speak poetic crafts I will hear the sea at Nan's place, hear the laughter of Doreen I'll remember Lizzy Santos, who's got charm of any Queen All the hugs of Margie Tindal, will stay put there in my mind And embracing my dear Mushy, who is utterly, utterly kind Many people to remember, I don't know who will come down But on 1slicklady's sandbeach, my skin turned a bit to brown And I hope there will be Chipmunk, to remember in the flesh She will fill my head with memories, of a spirit strong and fresh When I'm lonely in some moments, there's this voice I'll always hear Muse's voice of Poetry, the voice of my friend Balladeer 19 days to go folks, counting down Like scattered leaves...my words will flow [This message has been edited by Titia Geertman (08-21-2002 08:46 PM).] |

It's really gonna be a ball To go up there and meet you all I'll see the Dutchie coming far To be right here where we all are. Then Mushy comes from England, too Keth, from the land of kangaroo. There's Bill and Marge! I see them come (Not sure what planet Marge is from). Good Sy will be there at my side And Pepper, too, will take the ride. Fran and Isabel will see This gathering of poetry. Nan comes from New England shore And Michael August - wait! There's more! Catalina Moon comes too.. Hey, Passing Shadows - how 'bout you? There's Krissy, too - that's Mushy's child (I hear that she can be quite wild!!) And who knows who we're bound to see In this hodge-podge of poetry. As Titia says, the memories Will put a weakness in our knees. The memories of these few days Will strengthen us in many ways..... |

Oh dearest Titia... You are going to have the time of your life... I am so excited for you and for all of us... I sure hope that my health holds out and that I can make it, but I have a new symptom now...a nasty pain in my leg and I am afraid that it has spread... I have a bone scan scheduled for Aug 30... but don't know if they can radiate it in time to go to Fla. But I want to go so so badly that maybe I will just wish it away. Everyone is telling me that its just a sore muscle....Please pray that it is because I really want to meet you and everyone else...  ~ hugs from chipmunk praying she can go to TampaLyra |
