~ Finding a Way (to each other) ~

I see the dismal deep in your eyes
cheek-trail tears and unwept cries
clouded visions filled with self doubt
myths of reliance dance hither, about

like a wound that seeps thru dressing
myriad prayers to elicit a lessening
and yet the result is awe-inspiring
a life long love: that is our desiring

exactly what you wanted, you needed
such courage to ask Him to intercede
some days to come, our hearts to bind
glorious treasures we have yet to find

Jeff darling heart you lift your voice onto the  wings of angels and you sing into this soul of mine. Sometimes your writing is great sometimes it is powerful, but sometimes it nestles in my soul, as this did. You have such a way of breathing in my spirit and returning me a breath of wonder, is it any wonder you are loved by me? And as for Krissy she thinks you are the bees knees, she’s right darling heart you are.

I love this it is simply perfect and I’m keeping it here in the warmth of my soul which on nights such as this whispers your name in delight.

I love it utterly utterly utterly.

Love and warm stuff

Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire

Jeff!  You seem never to waste one word,
one sentence..or one stanza!
Everything has been so well chosen and perfectly placed.
Wonderful write and much enjoyed.

wow, I can see me in this a lot. I suppose I'm just missing the Him part...which is crucial. I'm working on it. Nice write.
