I sent my love
to him last night
upon the wind
a thought took flight.

To him it brought
a warmth of mind,
a special dream
in sleep to find.

As resting from
the day reposed
a gentle breeze
through his window.

An image of soft
romance I sent
across the miles
to him it went.

To wrap around him
where he lay
yes I sent my love
to him this way.

And in the night
within his dreams
were visions sweet
of only me.

And so this night
upon the wind
I'll send my love
to him again.
