In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2002-08-20 08:56 PM

{My father would
wonder why,
as an infant
I'd cry so long
}

Remind me I am  the echo
         a window of time

standing at the edge of water

because I've grown so beautiful to you

in  shadows

      the forest

was    kept

I waited  in  darkness --
    for   loving arms
soft fingers to dry   tears
--
No stars tonight

   I weep for them

with one raindrop

   winter inched  between us
kept our inner light     from touch

Wild lilies  amidst seas of grass --
our spirit  giving oceans blue    skies
slipping    away  like changing weather

You will sleep many hours here
   trembling from  salt   --
your wounds  know   pain
building faith in a
ruined house

touching fire and water
  ashes under my feet
footprints    fragile

{years have gone by}

I split your image --
how beautiful you were
my first encounter
          of times pictures

I wept for you
   I held   what remained
I felt    loss  and pain
come forth again    I learned
to let go   long before I loved

I flowered, a rose in the rain
you are a spirit, I still hear
"do not cry,  everything will be alright"

reminding me I am the echo

fragile time

standing

The ocean looks like a thousand diamonds strewn across a blue blanket
I lean against the wind pretend I am weightless and in this moment I am happy

Wonderful job! This has such a soft feel to it.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Lauren, this is so achingly beautiful, sweet friend, yes, everything will be alright and while when we're young that is hard to understand and difficult to believe time will ease all wounds! (kiss on cheek) This is wonderful, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lauren, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

You are indeed Echo, the sound made more beautiful.  As are these words.

Thank you.

God this is beautiful...
so many delicate layers of searching and discovery....so many pieces of you wrapped in exquisite bittersweet images...
Not only are you an echo ...but me thinks you are also a beacon of light and you all will now find your way home to one another.

If all the tear drops went to heaven
And if all the pain was confined ...
Would I be your salvation
could I make your spirit shine.
