I feel as Mr. Shakespeare's hand
That never held a quill
Or as the bravest knight may have
Without his sword or shield

In perfect love where once we were
My soul you could replete
With you and love, both distant now
I'm simply incomplete

A bird never flies so high that it can't hit the ground

You DO draw the emotion
in so few lines, Kris...
and you do it very well...

(big hugggssssss) Oh Kristopher, this is so beautiful but so sad, I hope this is only fictional and now like Shakespeare loves robin always restores amends in your heart! (sigh) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kristopher, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

"With you & love, both distant now,
I'm simply incomplete."

I'm glad these lines were at the end of the poem, instead of the beginning. They moved me to tears and I wouldn't have been able to read the rest of the poem!

Take care
Linda

Beautiful. Simply beautiful. The extra stanza works wonderful here, Kris.

By the way, replete? Nice word choice.

Sincerely,
Titus
