The golden touch of Autumn,
Singed the leaves with golden edges,
Once was sharper than a blade,
Now rusted brown with Autumns touch,

And once Autumns touch nudged,
Each and every golden leaf,
Brown or orange it didn't matter,
One by one they floated down,

Soft and gentle midnight breezes,
Lift so high the Autumn Touch,
So the moon may greet them,
Before they freeze with frosts touch,

But before they do let them dance to the wind,
May I feel them crisp and rustle,
And enjoy though Autumns touch.

Hi, Maria Darkness!

Simply fix the typos in the second line, and you've got a winner of an autumn fete there, as crisp and colorful and mellow as autumn leaves.

You captured all the sights, sounds and smells...wonderful melding of imagery and color to create this scene for us...
I especially enjoyed the leaf analogies and the inclusion of the moon and frost.
