Did my insecurities
Really get the best of you and me
I can only say I'm sorry

That really does my heart
Any good
And like it would
Really give my eyes
Rest from all of this crying
I don't understand
Or wait
In all honesty
I don't want to even begin to comprehend
That you just might
Have been sincere
In your efforts
And really did want to be a friend
I apologize
Each waking moment
But you'll never hear me
You've grown so distant
I can't even
Reach out for your hand
I'll laugh at myself
Years from now
I know I'll get over this
As I always do
But I can not
Believe I put myself
Through all of this
For what?
For who?
For another sliver of knowledge
And another growing pain
I'll just have to be careful
And not cry
Whenever someone
Mentions your name
And not beat myself up
Over my lack of direction
And for my poor judgement...

Hmm.. it is good when someone realises his/her wrong.The next step i guess is a cocience beat down.

Time will heal, my freind.
Also i think the emotions were very well conveyed in this piece.
