Your Stare

Face pale yet crimson,
your coy well veiled
by hazel eyes floating
upwards within cherubs
of pearly whites.

Below them arch gently
a vaguely pointed nose
on which your two tiniest
fingers lie, the others settled
neatly above your brow.

This peep-between has
my awe awakened by
your wine-colored lips,
which airs slightly open
an eternally sweet breath.

Your charismatic flirt
curls my attention, as do
your lashes lead me to these
constant eyes; to which I
fall victim of your stare.

Hayden, you have fit your poetry to the pic
quite well....the power of a stare....
certainly something difficult to overcome..

Particularly an alluring or captivating one
as you seem to have captured here...
